What is Sacred Geometry?
“If you want to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration” – Nikola Telsa
Its an ancient science, a sacred language, and a key to understanding the way the Universe is designed. Sacred Geometry is the study of shape and form, wave and vibration, and moving beyond third dimensional reality.
It is the language of creation, which exists as the foundation of all matter, and it is the vehicle for spirit. It has been called the “blueprint for all creation,” the “harmonic configuration of the Soul,” the “divine rhythm which results in manifest experience.
Sacred geometry involves universal patterns used in the design of everything in our reality. Its most often seen in nature, architecture, art, and mathematics.
Ancient cultures recognised that certain patterns or geometric shapes are repeated throughout nature. For instance, the cells of a honeycomb are hexagons, and a snail’s shell is a spiral.
These common patterns and shapes were further broken down into various patterns of numbers, mathematical formulas and specific symbols that ancient cultures believed were the building blocks for everything in the universe.
The same patterns and proportions (distances between things) are found both in the sky in the formation of the solar system and distance between planets etc as they are found in a snails shell and the hexagon shape of a bees honeycomb hive.
Modern science supports this theory. It’s been found that the molecular shapes that form the basis of our cells and life are in fact many of the same patterns identified by ancient cultures.
Knowledge of these sacred symbols, patterns and mathematical formulas allowed the construction of many historical buildings, such as the great pyramids of Egypt and the intricate temples found throughout South and Central America.
The shapes of these temples and pyramids are built directly in proportion to the configuration of planets and stars in the sky, and also have healing effects due to their shape and the harmonics in energy that they create.
It is believed that the same geometry, mathematical formulas, and proportion in all things, are also found in and created by sound and light vibration.
It is the unseen patterns that are the basis of, and animate our physical world, much as the soul animates and brings to life the physical body.
Just because we cant see something with the naked eye doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
We have to develope the tools and skills to tune into all the different frequencies that exist in the universe.
Understanding more about the different shapes of Sacred Geometry and healing/energetic qualities of crystals and how they were used in ancient cultures, can teach you how to harness their power.
